Starting from Val d’Isère, accompanied by an experienced Tarentaise Tours guide, each day will be a new adventure. You’ll climb glaciers on touring skis, spend nights in charming mountain huts, and cap it all off with the ascent of the Grand Paradiso (4,061 m) followed by an epic 2,200-meter ski descent. The evening before: ARRIVAL AND SETTLE IN
Arrival at your 3-star accommodation in Sainte Foy Tarentaise.
Meet your mountain guide for a safety briefing and gear check for the upcoming tour.
DAY 1 : RHÊMES VALLEY GLACIER CROSSING
Early morning departure to Val d’Isère with the private Tarentaise Tours shuttle.
Take the lifts, followed by a 3-hour ski touring ascent across the glaciers of the Rhêmes Valley.
Ski down to the refuge and spend the night in a cozy mountain lodge in Rhêmes-st-Georges, Italy.
day 2 : VICTOR-EMMANUEL HUT ASCENT
Morning departure by minibus to Valsavarenche.
Ascend 800 meters on touring skis to the Victor-Emmanuel hut at 2,730 meters.
Overnight in this magnificent hut with panoramic views of the valley.
day 3 : ASCENT OF GRAND PARADISO
Depart at sunrise for the ascent of the Grand Paradiso (4,061 m).
After a 5-hour climb to the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of the Alps.
Ski down the glacier and return to the valley by minibus. Overnight stay in a lodge.
DAY 4 : HELISKI EXPERIENCE IN VALGRISENCHE
Depart at 7:30 AM by minibus for Valgrisenche for an exciting heliski experience in Italy.
Ascend by helicopter for a thrilling 2,000-meter descent in the Ruitor area.
Climb up again on touring skis to reach a ridge, descending another slope back to the starting point.
An option for an additional helicopter drop on the Italian side is available if selected.
