Heliskiing, or the magic of powder snow, far from everything, in the heart of the mountains for 100% skiing pleasure. Located just a few kilometers from the Italian border, we are fortunate to be able to offer you three different heliskiing bases: a unique experience within easy reach! How could you not take advantage of it? Each base is different, offering a range of descent options for a gentle introduction to the sport, or steeper slopes and long descents for experts.
In any case, the experience will be magical, unique, and unforgettable: fresh snow, untouched slopes, panoramic views of snow-capped mountains, alone in the middle of this wild mountain, with descents between 1,000 m and 2,500 m of pure pleasure!
Our guides and instructors know each option and each descent perfectly, allowing them to adapt to each individual and choose the best slope for the best skiing. Whether for one day or several days, the possibilities are endless: La Thuile, Courmayeur, or Valgrisenche. The choice is yours. And the added bonus: everything is included with Tarentaise Tours (pro, ski pass, insurance, ARVA safety pack, shuttle, drop-offs). All you have to do is enjoy yourself.
All heliskiing trips can only take place if the weather conditions allow the helicopter to fly. The special conditions of the border effect can create some very surprising situations where it may be snowing in France but there is a clear blue sky in Italy, allowing the trip to go ahead without any problems. Thanks to our years of experience, we guarantee that we will do our utmost to go ahead with the trip, provided that safety is always guaranteed.
If, unfortunately, the weather does not allow for helicopter flights, the heliskiing day will be transformed into a day of off-piste skiing with the guide booked for your heliskiing trip. The heliskiing day will be rescheduled at a later date according to your availability during the season.
Over the years, we have found that it is quite difficult to group people together for heli-skiing trips. Lack of availability and differences in skill level or discipline (skiers/snowboarders) make it impossible to offer the quality of service and experience that we want to provide to our customers.
That is why we no longer offer the option of grouping people together for heli-skiing trips. Only private groups are accepted.
Yes, absolutely. If you are avid skiers who love powder snow and always want more, that’s no problem. We can arrange an open program with unlimited drop-offs. We charge a base rate for three drop-offs, and any additional drop-offs will be billed at the end of the day.
In this specific case, you will need to leave a credit card imprint to guarantee payment after the activity at the time of booking.
