The program
STEP 1 /
9:00 a.m. - Meeting at our agency, welcome with your guide, setting up the mountain bikes and briefing for the day, then transfer with our mini-bus to the village of PlanaySTEP 2 /
9:45 a.m. - We leave the village of Planay, to go to the small resort of Sainte-Foy which we cross, to go by superb old mountain paths to the magnificent hamlet of Monal.STEP 3 /
10:45 a.m. - After a visit to this wonderful hamlet and its traditional architecture, we continue to cross mountain pastures and their chalets with natural singles, which were used by the locals to move with their herdsSTEP 4 /
11:45 a.m. - Here we are in the village of Les Brevières at the foot of the Tignes dam, our shuttle is waiting for us to take us to the highest point of the day.STEP 5 /
12:00 p.m. - It is on the edge of the Grande-Sassière nature reserve that we take a lunch break with a view of the Grande-Casse and the Grande-Motte glacier, then we are off again for a balcony path through the mountain pastures and the forest of the Bois de la Balme, to arrive again towards the Brévières.STEP 6 /
2:30 p.m. - From Les Brévières we follow a balcony path towards the typical villages of Savinnaz and Gurraz, then follow an old road and continue our descent to the village of La Thuile.STEP 7 /
4:00 p.m. - Our descent continues along the banks of the Isère river, crossing villages and agricultural meadows, ending in Bourg-St-Maurice.STEP 8 /
6:00 p.m. - The mini-bus takes us to our agency, our morning meeting point, with memories full of memoriesDownload the program
