The Alps are a dream come true for mountain bikers — breathtaking, wild, and challenging. Each day, you’ll tackle a new col, discovering some of the most stunning landscapes in the Tarentaise: Col de l'Iseran, Col du Petit Saint-Bernard, Cormet de Roselend, and finally, Col de la Madeleine. Ride high along mountain ridgelines, climb over 2,500 meters in elevation, and cruise down endless singletracks.

The program
STEP 1 /
DAY 1 / 8:30 AMMeet up and connect with your guide, go over the plan, and check equipment. We transfer by minibus to the Roselend Dam, where the adventure begins. The first ride circles the lake via alpine ridgelines with stunning views of Mont-Blanc. After a scenic lunch break, we tackle the Gittaz pass and descend into the Contamines valley through exciting single tracks.

STEP 2 /
DAY 2 / 8:30 AMToday’s goal: reach Chamonix via the glaciers of Miage and Bionnassay. A forest climb brings us to a coffee stop with a view of the Dômes de Miage, followed by a technical descent to the Miage alpine pastures. We cross the spectacular Gruvaz gorge and climb toward Col de Voza for a well-earned lunch. From there, a long descent leads to Servoz, and finally Chamonix.

STEP 3 /
DAY 3 / 8:30 AMThe day starts with a gentle climb through Chamonix up to the village of Le Tour. We take the ski lifts to Col de Balme and drop into Switzerland. After a fun descent to Martigny, we climb again along the lakeside to Champex.

STEP 4 /
DAY 4 / 8:30 AMFrom Champex, we head into the Italian Val Ferret. A short descent brings us into the heart of this stunning valley. After a coffee at the rustic Peule hut, we climb to the Ferret Pass — the highest of the tour — with panoramic views of the glaciers. The descent to the Elena refuge is thrilling. From there, we reach Courmayeur either through the valley or the high balcony trail along Mont de la Saxe — the view is absolutely worth it.

STEP 5 /
DAY 5 / 8:30 AMWe begin with a steep climb into Val Veny, then ride up to the Chécruit pass for one last espresso with a view. A superb balcony trail leads us to the final challenge: the ascent of Col de la Seigne (2516 m). The descent to the Mottets refuge is unforgettable. We then follow the valley to Bourg-Saint-Maurice and take the funicular to Les Arcs. A wild forest traverse and some flowy singletrack bring us back to Sainte-Foy — time to celebrate!
