Eiger panorama Mittelegi summit with high mountain guide Mittelegi Panorama High mountain climb Vue from Mittelegi Suisse Valley of Grindelwald

Eiger traverse Mittelegi ridge course

A superb
crossing on the mythical summit of the Eiger
The Eiger, better known as the "ogre", was in the news in the 1930s when many climbers lost their lives on its north face.
High of 1800m of altitude, it is only in 1938 that German mountaineers found the way to reach its summit. Today, the record time to climb it is 2h 22minutes.
We propose an ascent by a much more accessible route, oriented west
this ridge is ideal to reach the summit of the Eiger. A predominantly rocky climb all along the route, in an extraordinary atmosphere.
