First 4000 m Peak: A 2-Day Ascent of the Grand Paradis
The Grand Paradis is renowned as one of the most accessible 4000-meter peaks in the Alps—an ideal choice for your first high-altitude experience. Entirely located in Italy, it is the only summit over 4000 meters to lie fully within Italian territory. Nestled in the heart of the Grand Paradis National Park, established in 1923, the area is home to rich alpine wildlife including ibex and chamois. This short but intense adventure offers breathtaking scenery and a rewarding climb to a legendary summit.
