The program
STEP 1 /
Day 1 / 9:00 AMMeet at our agency to get acquainted with your guide and go through a full gear check. The day includes rope handling revision and a rock climbing session to refresh your alpine movement skills. In the afternoon, you’ll climb a Via Cordata route to get comfortable in varied terrain.
STEP 2 /
Day 2 / 6:00 AMTransfer to Courmayeur and ride the spectacular Skyway cable car to Pointe Helbronner. From there, you'll traverse the sharp ridges of the Aiguilles d’Entrèves (3600 m), a classic alpine route ideal for acclimatization and technical preparation. Overnight at the Torino Hut with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif.
STEP 3 /
Day 3 / 6:00 AMClimb the Dent du Géant (4013 m) via the normal route. This stunning granite tower offers a real taste of high-altitude climbing with unforgettable panoramas. Return to the valley in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a hotel to rest and recharge.
STEP 4 /
Day 4 / 8:00 AMTransfer to Zermatt, Switzerland. From there, hike up to Hörnli Hut (3260 m), the traditional base camp for the Matterhorn ascent. Evening briefing, final preparations, and early rest before summit day.
STEP 5 /
Day 5 / 4:30 AMSummit day. Begin your ascent of the Matterhorn via the legendary Hörnli Ridge, a demanding route offering dramatic exposure and world-class views over the Alps. After reaching the summit (4478 m), descend the same route and return to the valley. Drive back to Tarentaise Tours agency with your guide, filled with stories and unforgettable memories.
