The program
STEP 1 /
Day 1 / 7:00 AM Ascent to Refuge Guide d’Ayas (3425 m). Meet your guide at our agency for a gear check and briefing. Transfer to Saint-Jacques in the Val d’Ayas, then taxi up to Pian di Verra (2395 m). From this point, hike passing the Mezzalama Refuge and continue till Refuge Guide d’Ayas to spend the night.
Altitude difference: +1030 m
STEP 2 /
Day 2 / 7:00 AM Ascent of Pollux (4091 m). Climb the Verra Glacier and follow an easy mixed route to a snowy ridge leading to the summit of Pollux. Return to Refuge Guide d’Ayas via the same route.
Altitude difference: +670 m / -670 m
STEP 3 /
Day 3 / 7:00 AM Summit of Castor (4230 m). A beautiful ascent via the Verra Glacier and northwest face of Castor, finishing on an elegant snow ridge. Cross over Felik Pass and descend along a gentle glacier to Refuge Quintino-Sella (3585 m).
Altitude difference: +805 m / -645 m
STEP 4 /
Day 4 / 6:00 AM Lyskamm Naso (4272 m) & Vincent Pyramide (4215 m). Cross the glacier beneath the Lyskamm south face and ascend steep slope, certainly the most technical part of the trek, until the Naso. Continue across the Lys Glacier to climb the Pyramide Vincent. Descend to Refuge Città di Mantova (3498 m) for the night.

STEP 5 /
Day 5 / 5:00 AM Zumstein (4563 m), Punta Gnifetti (4556 m), and More. Ascend the Lys Glacier to the Col, then climb a short snowy ridge to the summit of Zumstein. Continue toward Punta Gnifetti with a stop at the iconic Margherita Hut—the highest refuge in Europe. Depending on group condition, optional ascents of additional 4000m peaks (e.g. Parrot, Ludwigshöhe, Corno Nero) may be included. Descend by Indren cable car to Refuge-Hotel Gabiet for a well-earned rest.

STEP 6 /
Day 6 / 7:00 AM Descent to Gressoney & Return to Saint-Jacques. A gentler final day. Descend to Gressoney and ascend to Bettaforca (2971 m) by cable car , then following a scenic alpine trail back to Saint-Jacques, where your vehicle awaits.
